Relevant Events

February 2019: The business wins for the third time the AltFi’s “People’s Choice Award”.

April 2019: The company released the 2018 financial statements, which showed that the company continues being profitable.

June 2019: The platform announces that it´s currently developing a new business model for the UK market, and decides to temporarily stop new investments in loans from the UK residents. Sayonara baby!

November 2019: My portfolio value is getting closer to a 0 €, so I impatiently asked the affiliate marketing team about any news concerning the license required to operate in the UK. The answer was that apparently the UK is not clear on what license a company like this one must have, and that’s making the whole process take longer than it should.

January 2020: Platform fully exited after selling all remaining loans with a -0.5% discount.
